HighGround has been named a finalist for seven national awards from Campaigns & Elections –  the preeminent “how-to” journal of politics, focused on the tools, tactics and techniques of the political consulting profession.   The Reed Awards recognize excellence in campaign management, political consulting and political design.

Teaming up with Director Art Haynie, HighGround successfully tapped a new technology to educate and reach voters by launching a virtual reality campaign ad.  The VR spot has been named a finalist for “Best Web Video” and “Best Use of Virtual or Augmented Reality.”  In addition, the HighGround team worked with IWS to launch which has been nominated for “Best Website for Ballot Initiative.”

Overall HighGround was named finalists in the following categories: 

  • Overall > Best Web Video
  • Overall > Best Campaign Comeback
  • Campaign Branding & Field Work > Best Yard Sign
  • Digital - Websites & Mobile > Best Website For Ballot Initiative
  • Digital - Web Video > Best Use of Virtual or Augmented Reality
  • Newspaper > Best Newspaper Ad for Candidate Campaign
  • Direct Mail - Campaigns > Best Mail Piece For Non-Partisan County, Local Or Judicial Candidate

“The year 2016 will go down as a successful year for many of our candidates and campaigns.  It was exciting to explore different and innovate ways to talk to voters and it is also rewarding to be recognized for it,” said J. The winners will be announced during the 2017 Reed Conference & Awards taking place February 16th – 17th 2017 at the ARIA Casino & Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.
